"Food Distribution" means sorting, bagging and then distributing at the various locations.
* approximately 9,000 pounds of produce is distributed, as well as other food items as available.
** approximately 15,000 pounds produce is distributed, as well as other food items as available.
*** approximately 30,000 pounds of produce is distributed, as well as other food items as available.
"Community Food Distribution" means when large, refrigerated trucks are brought directly
into our site by United Food Bank in a cooperative effort to reach into the communitites.
Our volunteers are responsible for set-up, food distribution, and clean-up. These trucks
are usually filled with produce, but often have other food items available as well.
Help is needed at all of our outreaches, but we currently have a great need for help on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, & Thursdays with sorting clothes for distribution and unloading trucks.
