Through a vision that began in 1993, God has opened doors for us to reach out through Him and help those in need in the East Valley and South Phoenix. Our mission is to reach homeless and/or needy youth, families, and/or We understand that it is not enough to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people, it has to be demonstrated as well. something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to see me.” We know that Jesus was not literally speaking of himself, as he goes on to say, “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” (Matt. 25:35-40) Our vision began by our encountering homeless and runaway youth under the Mill Avenue bridge in Tempe. Feeling called to help them, our first outreach involved packing 25 lunch bags and setting out for Mill Avenue on Christmas Day 1995. We enjoyed it so much that we |
